Farm Hand/Horse Groom About the Role We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Horse Groom/ Farm Hand to join our professional training facility. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about horses, takes pride in providing exceptional daily care, and enjoys working in fast-paced equestrian environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, watering, grooming, and blanketing Clean stalls, paddocks, and barn aisles to maintain a safe and organized facility Monitor horses for signs of illness, injury, or changed in behavior and report concerns promptly Prepare horses for training sessions by grooming and tacking up as directed Cool down, untack, and care for horses after exercise Maintain clean and organized tack, equipment, and grooming supplies Assist with turnout, bringing horses in, and other daily barn routines Follow all stable safety procedures and contribute to a positive team environment Qualifications Previous horse handling or grooming experience preferred Comfortable working around horses of varying ages and temperaments Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing barn chores in all weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent horse care Schedule Full time or Part time opportunities available Weekend and holiday availability may be required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to work with quality horses in a professional training environment Supportive team atmosphere Opportunities to learn and develop equestrian skills If you are dedicated to providing outstanding daily care for horses and enjoy working in a professional training facility, we encourage you to apply.
