Our client, an award-winning multi-state cannabis brand obsessed with making the richest flavored, organic, small-batch cannabis on the planet, is seeking a short-term Nursery Tech in River Rouge for 1-2 months , with the potential for extension or direct hire based on performance. While prior experience with cannabis propagation is preferred, the right attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability are what matter most. This is a labor-intensive, hands-on role perfect for someone who loves working with plants and wants to grow their career in cannabis cultivation.
Core Responsibilities:
Transplant rooted clones into coco Take cuttings and stick clones into rockwool Prune and maintain Mother plants according to strain needs Top and trim vegetative plants Mix and apply biostimulants or pesticides via foliar spray/drench Release beneficial insects to maintain plant health Tag plants and track inventory (METRC) Maintain clean, organized workspaces: mop floors, sanitize tools, etc. Work in warm, humid environments for extended periods (75°F+)
Ideal Candidate:
