Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Badge Management in River Rouge, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to alarms and security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, provide excellent customer service, and may drive as part of post responsibilities. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at an industrial utilities location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, buildings, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Assist with enforcing traffic, parking, and delivery procedures while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess EMT certification.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
