Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

The primary function of this position is to timely assist patrons/trucking personnel with weighing trucks, taking grain samples and keeping an accurate record of grain movement at designated location(s).

HOURS:

Day shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle incoming/outgoing grain by weighing trucks Obtain grain sample and test grain for quality purposes Accurately keep record of sample test results General maintenance of grain scale equipment, keeping things neat and clean. Notify supervisor of any safety concerns Communicate with location personnel of incoming/outgoing truck traffic and grain quality issues Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons Additional duties may be assigned by management

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma Availability to work extended hours Computer and data entry skills Must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with others Agriculture background preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in grain dust Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position
