Full-Time Position Summary The Post-Harvest Technician is responsible for processing harvested cannabis plants into finished products while maintaining quality, consistency, and compliance with all state regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to producing premium cannabis products in a clean and organized environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive and process harvested cannabis plants. Buck plants from stems and prepare material for drying and curing. Trim cannabis flower by hand or using approved trimming equipment while maintaining product quality standards. Monitor drying and curing conditions according to company SOPs. Sort flower by size, quality, and strain. Remove stems, seeds, and other plant material as needed. Weigh, package, and label finished products accurately. Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation. Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations and company policies. Follow sanitation procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and workstations daily. Identify and report quality concerns, mold, pests, or contamination. Assist with inventory counts and product transfers. Support additional post-harvest projects and operational needs as assigned. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous cannabis cultivation or post-harvest experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable with excellent attendance. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry, including obtaining and maintaining any required employee registration or license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of cannabis handling and post-harvest best practices. Ability to identify quality standards for cannabis flower. Basic math and recordkeeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management and communication skills. Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours). Frequent use of hands for repetitive trimming and packaging tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, squat, reach, and twist throughout the workday. Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and humidity. Exposure to cannabis plant material, pollen, and strong odors. Work Environment Indoor cultivation and processing facility. Fast-paced production setting. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. Adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation standards is required. Performance Expectations Successful Post-Harvest Technicians consistently: Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards. Follow all SOPs and regulatory requirements. Produce clean, accurately trimmed, and properly packaged cannabis products. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and professionalism.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
