Job Description

Cannabis Cultivation Associate Job Description This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day cultivation operations under the direction of the Cultivation Lead, Cultivation Manager, and Director of Cultivation. This role focuses on plant care, facility cleanliness, accurate data entry, and compliance with all company policies and state cannabis regulations. The Cultivation Associate plays a critical role in maintaining plant health, supporting production schedules, and ensuring a clean and organized cultivation environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform daily plant care activities including watering, feeding, transplanting, pruning, defoliation, trellising, and general plant maintenance. Assist with cloning, vegetative maintenance, and flower room upkeep. Monitor plant health and immediately report pests, disease, mold, or nutrient deficiencies to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cultivation rooms, tools, and workspaces. Assist with harvest activities including cutting, bucking, and transport of plant material. Follow production schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately. Accurately complete required documentation and assist with Metrc entries including plant movement, waste, and tagging. Follow all SOPs, safety procedures, and compliance requirements. Maintain organization of cultivation areas and ensure tools and supplies are properly stored. Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding task completion, issues, or supply needs. Support general facility cleaning and operational tasks as assigned. Management reserves the right to assign additional duties and responsibilities as needed. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain state credentials to work in a licensed cannabis facility. Ability to follow SOPs and detailed instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Basic computer skills preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior cultivation, agriculture, or horticulture experience. Experience working in regulated environments. Familiarity with Metrc or similar tracking systems.

Expected Hours of Work:
Ability to work Monday - Sunday based on operational needs Typical schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week
Working Conditions:
This position operates in a commercial cannabis cultivation environment and requires use of standard tools and equipment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours) Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive movements Ability to work on ladders and perform overhead tasks
Environmental Demands:
Employees may be exposed to pollen, allergens, dust, humidity, temperature fluctuations, bright artificial lighting, elevated CO2 levels, and odors associated with cannabis cultivation.
Pay:
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
