In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency and landscape health. Your expertise will help deliver lush landscapes and sustainable irrigation solutions for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on new irrigation system installation projects, perform routine maintenance, and provide exceptional customer service. A strong background in irrigation management, mechanical knowledge, and electrical diagnostics will empower you to succeed and grow within our organization. Duties Install new irrigation systems, including automated irrigation control systems, ensuring precise setup and functionality Conduct regular irrigation system maintenance to optimize performance and prevent failures Troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment, including valves, controllers, pumps, and sprinkler heads Perform electrical diagnostics on complex irrigation control systems to identify issues quickly and accurately Execute system troubleshooting during irrigation system repair projects to restore full operation efficiently Collaborate with landscaping teams on integrated landscape maintenance and lawn care projects Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment for excavation and installation tasks Manage irrigation systems effectively by monitoring soil science factors and adjusting watering schedules accordingly Assist with excavation activities related to new installations or repairs while adhering to safety standards Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and troubleshooting steps clearly Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of irrigation equipment and system components Experience with new irrigation system installation projects from start to finish Proficiency in electrical diagnostics related to automated irrigation control systems Knowledge of soil science principles relevant to efficient irrigation practices Skilled in excavation techniques using excavators or hand tools for underground piping or system setup Familiarity with landscape maintenance, horticulture, and lawn care practices Ability to troubleshoot complex irrigation systems quickly and accurately Construction experience is a plus for understanding site preparation and installation procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Competence in operating power tools, hand tools, and specialized construction equipment Join us as an Irrigation Technician and be part of a team dedicated to creating sustainable landscapes through innovative irrigation solutions.
