Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Lead Cultivator to lead our cultivation operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment, loves the science and art of organic cannabis cultivation, and is ready to lead a small team to produce top-tier results. Key Responsibilities Lead daily cultivation tasks including watering, pruning, training, defoliation, nutrient management, and pest monitoring. Oversee harvest, drying, curing, and post-harvest processing to maintain premium quality. Manage environmental systems (lighting, climate control, irrigation) to optimize plant health and yields. Train, schedule, and supervise cultivation technicians while enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) Track crop progress, maintain detailed records, and ensure full compliance with Montana cannabis regulations. Identify and solve plant issues quickly to protect quality and efficiency Keep the facility clean, organized, and running at peak performance What We're Looking For Proven experience in commercial cannabis cultivation (lead or senior technician level preferred) Highly motivated, reliable, and passionate about growing premium organic cannabis Excellent physical condition — able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long shifts in a grow-room environment Strong work history with a track record of dependability and professionalism Team player who leads by example and communicates clearly 21+ years old and eligible to work in Montana's regulated cannabis industry Why Join Mountain Organics?
