Job Description

Overview We are seeking a cannabis extraction technician to assist in the production of cannabis concentrates in one of Montana's premier cannabis extraction labs. This role is for a hands-on extractor who will be responsible for preparing biomass for extraction, performing extraction, and performing all post-extraction processing while maintaining a clean and sanitary lab environment and adhering to safety and compliance regulations. Prior extraction experience required, and METRC experience preferred. Responsibilities
  • Intake and store cannabis biomass appropriately until extraction
  • Prepare cannabis biomass for extraction, ensuring adequate organization is in place to effectively and efficiently perform extraction function and maintain separation between extraction batches
  • Extract cannabis biomass using our hydrocarbon extraction machine, adhering to strict safety regulations and policies
  • Effectively and safely use vacuum ovens to perform post-extraction processing and decarboxylation of extracts where necessary
  • Clean and maintain a sanitary lab environment, including lab equipment, countertops, tools, machines, ovens, and storage racks
  • Maintain clear organization within the lab for all cannabis biomass, extracts (both in processing and completed), packaging and hardware
  • Monitor, maintain and service lab equipment and machinery, performing regular deep-cleaning on all extraction equipment and regular maintenance to ensure longevity and healthy function
  • Ensure adherence to all state guidelines and compliance law within the lab Requirements
  • Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Prior cannabis extraction and lab experience
