Galt Ranch in White Sulphur Springs, Montana, is hiring year-round ranch hands for our core crew. We value a strong work ethic, honesty, and a willingness to learn. If you show those things, we will invest the time to train you. You start at the bottom and earn a better role by how well you do the job you are given. Prior ranch experience is not required. In fact, we often prefer people without it — we would rather train someone who shows up with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn than undo bad habits. Days start at 7:00 a.m. There is no set end time — we work until the job is finished. There are no set days off, and weekends are required more often than not. On any given day, you might clean the shop, complete general maintenance around the ranch, fix fences, move cattle, or complete a variety of other tasks. We exclusively use four-wheelers for cattle and fence work. You will be expected to follow all rules for four-wheelers and other ranch equipment. This is not a horseback operation. Don't expect the opportunity to work with horses, but it may be available to the right person.

Housing (all utilities included) Meat Pay DOE, once a month (raises are performance-based and are given throughout the year when they have been earned) Ranch vehicle for the workday
