What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transplanting, weeding, harvesting field crops
- Assist in washing and with packing harvest and sales orders
- Assist in keeping containers and pack areas clean and organized
- Safe operation, cleaning, and storage of farm tools
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with physical labor and/or intense outdoors activity - able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in all types of weather (hot, cold, rainy, etc.)
- Ability to maintain a steady production pace, including independent tasks
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous farming/gardening experience is a plus
SCHEDULE & BENEFITS
- 3 days a week, flexible schedule (Mon-Sat) -- Mondays required.
- $17-20/hour, depending on experience
- Weekly fresh produce from the farm
