Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for farming and a willingness to learn about various aspects of farm operations. This role is essential in maintaining the productivity and health of our crops, ensuring that our farm runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties Assist in daily farm operations, including planting, growing, harvesting and hauling crops. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for various tasks such as tilling, planting, and transporting materials. Perform heavy lifting as required for moving supplies and repairing equipment. Utilize hand tools for various farming tasks including maintenance of machinery and facilities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure all farm activities are completed timely and effectively. Experience Previous experience in farm work is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus; training may be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday. Knowledge of growing practices and plant care is beneficial for farming responsibilities. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Experience with hand tools is necessary for effective completion of daily tasks on the farm.
