A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Agriculture General Operations Location:
Leigh, NE Pay:
$22.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Extended hours and 7-day workweeks during harvest Looking for a career where every day is different? We're hiring an Agriculture General Operations team member in Leigh, NE! If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment and being part of the agricultural industry, this is a great opportunity to join a team that keeps local farming operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Operate equipment including forklifts, tractors, lawn mowers and other machinery Load and unload grain, agronomy products and feed Assist with grain handling, inventory and daily facility operations Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and buildings Help with housekeeping and keeping the facility clean and organized Assist customers with feed and other agricultural products Support agronomy operations during slower seasons Complete additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent CDL or the ability to obtain one Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience Knowledge of trucks is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Flexibility to work longer hours and weekends during harvest Why Apply?
