08:00 AM - 04:30 PM with a half-hour lunch, Monday through Friday; some weekend and overtime during peak harvest season.
Job Description:
We have openings for energetic and committed team members to support operations activities to support the Nebraska soybean breeding program. These are temporary, entry level positions for day shift only. Most activities are done with a team of technicians under the supervision of client full-time employees. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Harvest preparation. Data collection using Microsoft Word and Excel. Hand harvest of soybean. Machine and single head threshing. Seed processing. Seed inventory data collection and entry in Microsoft Word . These positions will work both outdoors and indoors in variable conditions, with potential exposure to sun, heat, dust, and insects.
Qualifications:
Agronomy, horticulture, biology, and/or crop experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. Basic computing skills in order to use Microsoft Office applications.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
