Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong understanding of farm operations. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the stable environment, caring for the animals, and assisting with various farm-related tasks. The Stable Hand will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our animals while supporting the overall functionality of the farm. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 11:00AM/12:00 PM. Responsibilities Provide daily care for horses. (Turn Out, Feedings, Stalls, Waters, Etc.) Maintain cleanliness in stalls, paddocks, and common areas to ensure a safe environment for both animals and staff. Assist with equipment repair and maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery are in good working order. Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to animal care and farm maintenance. Monitor animal health and report any concerns to management promptly. Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in caring for horses. Ability to operate in a collaborative work environment. Proficient in using hand tools and performing basic equipment repairs. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining stable cleanliness and safety standards. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with farm work.
