Fertigation Technicians may also be required to work in the garden with Cultivation Technicians and perform similar duties as needed. Why work for Justice? Because people matter here. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Diagnosing plants nutritional needs Adheres to cultivation schedule set by the Cultivation Manager Monitor soil moisture content of the crop and obtain water samples for testing Check and balance EC & PH of stock tanks according to company standard operation procedures Conducts day-to-day plant hand watering Work closely with grow team to ensure the irrigation/fertigation plan is properly implemented and maintained Maintain sanitation standards in the cultivation/grow rooms Performs regular calibration of nutrient testing instruments Clean and sanitize nutrient tanks, pumps, filters as needed Responsible for measuring and mixing nutrients and plant applications and applying these mixtures according to Justice Grown policy Develops proficiency and follows safety practices with the operation of equipment, fertigation systems, environmental controls, water distribution systems, which includes performing preventative maintenance tasks; troubleshooting malfunctions; assisting with repairs. Comply with company and product label safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Able to work variable shifts to meet business requirements Performs other related duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in cannabis industry is desirable, but not required Ability to prioritize safety practices and follow standard operating procedures Ability to take direction and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision Conduct oneself in a professional manner Communicate fluently in English (verbal and written) Ability to maintain product accurately and efficiently Ability to communicate with other staff and associates in all situations Ability to adhere to the highest customer service with staff and the public at all times Ability to perceive and meet the needs of team members and management Ability to maintain high standards in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment Punctual, professional, and able to communicate clearly with your managers and other staff Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, and cultivation practices Repetitive use of fine motor skills using scissors High level of efficiency, patience, and flexibility Must meet requirements for state affiliation The ability to identify cannabis varieties using visual and olfactory senses is highly desirable EOE Justice Cannabis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
