Job Overview:

We are seeking an experience, highly skilled, and physically fit Commercial Cannabis Cultivation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health and productivity of our indoor production facility. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work in controlled indoor conditions, and perform various tasks using hand tools and specialized equipment. Responsibilities:

Perform daily irrigation, nutrient delivery, and maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal growth of cannabis plants Conduct regular checks to identify any issues with the cultivation facility and equipment Utilize hand tools to complete various tasks, including pruning, defoliation, and harvesting Operate cultivation machinery, such as trimmers and environmental control systems, to maintain plant health Use basic math skills to measure and calculate quantities of materials needed for tasks Assist in the planning and implementation of new cultivation layouts and projects Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis cultivation Maintain accurate records of plant health, growth metrics, and maintenance performed on equipment and structures Collaborate with the cultivation team to create a productive and efficient growing environment

Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and balance objects up to 50 pounds with caution Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, ramps, or stairs safely using hands and legs Ability to safely balance and work at heights up to 8 feet for extended periods Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering racking infrastructure Excellent fine motor skills and precise manual dexterity Resilience to controlled agricultural environments with warm and humid microclimates Tolerance to commercial LED lighting, strong cannabis aromas, and pollen allergens Strictly adherence to clean room protocols, including mandated

PPE Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in commercial cannabis cultivation, or a degree in a relevant field, is required A passion for growing and maintaining cannabis plants is essential Experience with hand tools and basic math skills is required Familiarity with irrigation and nutrient delivery systems Proficient with hand tools and cultivation machinery

Shift:
