Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Trimmer to join our dynamic cultivation team. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously trimming and preparing cannabis plants to ensure they meet quality standards and aesthetic appeal. Your work will directly impact the overall quality of our products, supporting our mission to deliver premium cannabis to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop horticultural skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to sustainable cultivation practices. Duties Carefully trim and manicure cannabis flowers, ensuring optimal appearance and quality in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Remove excess leaves, stems, and debris using hand tools such as scissors, trimmers, and pruning shears. Inspect plants for signs of pests, mold, or disease, and report issues promptly for integrated pest management (IPM). Maintain cleanliness of work stations and ensure tools are sanitized regularly to prevent contamination. Assist with plant harvesting, curing, and packaging processes as needed. Follow safety guidelines for heavy lifting and outdoor or greenhouse work to promote a safe working environment. Support crop production efforts by adhering to irrigation management protocols and horticultural best practices. Experience Prior experience in horticulture, gardening, or farming is highly desirable. Familiarity with greenhouse cultivation, outdoor work environments, or lawn care enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of irrigation systems and agricultural environmental control systems is beneficial. Experience managing horticultural teams or working within crop pest management programs is a plus. Ability to identify plants accurately and understand basic math for measurements and calculations related to crop care. Comfortable performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during outdoor or greenhouse work. A strong interest in plant identification, crop production, and sustainable agriculture practices will help you thrive in this position. Join us in cultivating excellence!
