Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. Duties Install irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip lines, and pumps according to landscape specifications. Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems to ensure efficient operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to irrigation equipment and systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools for digging, building, and installing components of irrigation systems. Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden designs. Monitor soil moisture levels and adjust irrigation schedules as needed for optimal plant health. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs. Experience Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is a plus. Ability to dig trenches, build components, and effectively irrigate various types of gardens and landscapes. A commitment to safety practices while working on-site in various outdoor environments.
