Reporting directly to the GM / Landscape Director, the successful candidate serves as the critical eyes and ears in the field, ensuring proactive water management and system reliability. While senior technicians and managerial candidates are highly encouraged to apply, this remains an active, working position in the field requiring daily hands-on execution. Compensation & Benefits $28.00 - $32.00 per hour 3% commission on field upsells Comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits and retirement plan options Paid time off and additional company benefits based on eligibility Excellent opportunities for long-term career advancement Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve irrigation and landscape lighting systems across assigned properties. Diagnose system failures, electrical issues, and coverage deficiencies by identifying root causes rather than just visible symptoms. Monitor system performance continuously to identify and report deficiencies before they escalate into larger failures. Support overall plant health and property appearance through precise irrigation management and proactive field observation. Document all repairs, site conditions, time, materials, and recommendations accurately using LMN or approved reporting systems. Communicate findings promptly to the GM / Landscape Director, maintaining a proactive, "no surprises" approach. Ensure all service work is completed safely, adhering to proper PPE usage and utility protection standards. Requirements 3+ years of progressive experience in irrigation service, maintenance, or installation. Strong working knowledge of irrigation operation, including controllers, valves, heads, zones, wiring, and general water efficiency. Ability to work independently in an active field role, which includes lifting over 50 lbs., trenching, and operating in varying weather conditions. Exceptional diagnostic problem-solving skills with a commitment to leaving every property in equal or better condition. Familiarity with landscape lighting systems, low voltage troubleshooting, and field management software like LMN or Jobber is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, requiring the completion of a Driver License Abstract prior to employment. #LI-TT1
