Plant Technician Indoor Cannabis Cultivation | Full-Time, Hourly | Albuquerque, NM About the Role We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Plant Technician to join our indoor grow operation. You'll be hands on with plants, caring for plants through the grow cycle up to harvest and post-harvest processing. This position is ideal for someone just starting out in the cannabis industry, who is coach-able and enjoys gardening along side a small team. However, experience in the industry is certainly a plus! What You'll Be Doing Daily plant care including watering, feeding, training, and monitoring for pests, disease, or other issues Transplanting clones and plants at appropriate stages of the grow cycle Executing harvests including hang drying, trimming, and processing Maintaining a clean, organized work environment in compliance with facility SOPs Working with Grow Lead to learn our specific methods, and assisting with misc. duties as necessary Occasional travel to other company locations within the Albuquerque/Placitas area may be required as needed Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift Comfortable working in a controlled indoor environment (temperature, humidity, lighting schedules) Being trainable and receptive to direction from the Lead Grower, even if you have prior experience with alternate methods Attention to detail and ability to execute on established processes consistently Reliable transportation Dependable Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in New Mexico Food Handlers card is required in this industry- We can help you obtain this quickly online before your start date. Nice to Have (Not Required) Prior experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, or agricultural work Familiarity with BioTrack Basic knowledge of plant nutrition Compensation & Schedule This is a full-time hourly position starting at $16/hr, with opportunity for advancement as you grow with the team. Typical schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm with alternating days off, though some flexibility on scheduling can be discussed. Working on weekend is to be expected, and additional hours may be available during harvest cycles.
