This position is responsible for safely operating tractors and other agricultural equipment to support day-to-day field operations. Responsibilities Operate tractors and various farm implements safely and efficiently. Perform general field work including disking, ripping, cultivating, mowing, planting, land preparation, and other tractor work as assigned. Be able to proficiently use greenstar GPS systems. Hook up, adjust, and properly operate farm implements and attachments. Perform daily equipment inspections before operation. Check fluid levels, tires, hoses, belts, and other basic equipment components. Identify mechanical or equipment problems and report them to management. Perform basic maintenance, greasing, cleaning, and minor repairs when needed. Transport equipment between fields as required. Follow field instructions and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently. Assist with irrigation, harvest, and other general farm duties when needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all farm and equipment safety procedures. Requirments Previous experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment required . Valid driver's license required. Ability to safely operate tractors with a variety of implements. Basic understanding of farm equipment maintenance and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Dependable, punctual, and responsible with equipment. Must be comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, dusty, and changing weather conditions. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours during busy farming seasons. Ability to perform physically demanding farm work when necessary. Reliable transportation to and from work. Bilingual in Spanish and English Preferred Qualifications 3-5+ years of tractor or farm equipment operating experience. Experience with multiple types and sizes of agricultural tractors. Experience with tillage, planting, cultivation, mowing, or harvest equipment. Basic mechanical and equipment repair experience. General knowledge of commercial farming and field operations.

Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
