Job Description

We are looking for an energetic Vineyard Technician to join Bully Hill Vineyards! If you enjoy the outdoors and can work independently, we would like to meet you. To be a Vineyard Technician, you, along with a team of techs, will maintain our vineyards while preparing them for the next harvest. You should be outgoing, attentive, and punctual, with the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather. Responsibilities General Vineyard Maintenance (fruit thinning, leaf pruning, trellis installation, planting, pruning, training of the vines) Required to get a NY Pesticide Applicator License within the first year. Machine Harvesting Tractor Operations Drain Tile Installation Fertilizer, Herbicide, and Fungicide Application Snow Removal Forrest Management General Landscaping Mowing Skills Excellent communication skills Professional attitude Perform physical tasks and have physical mobility Use pruning shears, hand saws, weed eaters, hedgers, shovels, and chainsaws Operate a wide variety of tractors and implements with proficiency and safety Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must be able to work Weekdays and Weekends Must have tractor operating experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Lift 50 lbs.
