Job Description
We are looking for fabricators who will use machines to cut, form, punch, and press metal parts. You must be able to read work instructions and/or blueprints and schematics to properly align metal pieces or components in machines such as a drill press, punch press, and press brake to form and punch the parts, and use measurement tools to verify dimensions and product specifications. This a position for individuals who want to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. Duties Reading and understanding product schematics and work instructions Running and operating various production machines and jobs, which might include any of the following: Burring Machine; Heager Press; Drill/Tap/Countersink/Counterbore; NC Punching; Punch Press Stamping; Panel Bender Machine, Spot welder; Laser; Machining; Basic Welding; Metal Finishing/Grinding; and Assembly Checking dimensions with specification, blueprints, and work orders by inspecting product using verniers, rules, height gauges or other means Regular use of software to track results of production Other duties as assigned Required Skills Ability to read and understand work instructions and to enter data into company software Ability to read blueprints preferred Basic math abilities Experience using hand tools Knowledge of measuring tools, such as micrometers, verniers, tape measures Awareness of and willingness to adhere to manufacturing safety standards Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
