This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in agriculture and machinery operation within a vibrant outdoor setting. Responsibilities Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate farming equipment and techniques. Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on farm machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads, greenhouse upkeep, and general farm maintenance. Follow strict safety standards during all operations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Skills Proven experience in farming or agricultural work with solid knowledge of crop cultivation and greenhouse management. Skilled in operating farm machinery such as tractors, power tools, greenhouses, irrigation systems, and forklifts. Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance; welding skills are a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environments. Knowledge of irrigation systems and crop growing techniques for optimal yield.
