A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description

Assisting a husband and wife farming team in successfully growing delicious small-scale vegetables. Must be physically strong and fit, able to handle being outdoors. Experience growing and gardening a must, but you can learn a ton about successful gardening and growing. A typical weekly schedule for example, morning or afternoon Mondays, afternoons Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays, and some Fridays if needed or available. Thursday help at market 10-2 July-October. We are flexible on this to some extent. We can't pay a lot, but we can offer free veggies and room for advancement and/or more hours. Looking for someone asap.
