Job Summary Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Dairy Worker, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our dairy livestock and ensuring smooth farm operations. Responsibilities Assist with daily livestock handling and animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, milking, cleaning, and health monitoring of dairy animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other agricultural equipment safely and efficiently. Perform equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure machinery remains in optimal condition. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving supplies or livestock safely according to safety standards. Support farm operations by supervising team members during various tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient workflow. Maintain accurate records of animal health, feed schedules, maintenance activities, and equipment repairs. Conduct routine inspections of farm infrastructure including fencing, barns, irrigation systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Skills Proven supervising experience in agricultural or farm settings with the ability to lead a team effectively. Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, agricultural tractors, and other farm machinery with proper certification if applicable. Extensive animal care experience with livestock management including dairy cattle and other farm animals; knowledge of animal husbandry practices is essential. Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, maintenance of farm machinery, and MRO (maintenance, repair & operations). Familiarity with outdoor work environments requiring manual handling, heavy lifting, and use of hand tools or power tools. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members. Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations or horticulture is a plus for supporting diverse farm activities. Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping; strong attention to detail for maintaining operational accuracy. Ability to perform heavy physical tasks consistently while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
