Creative opportunity at a Historic working farm. We are looking for an upbeat individual to join our team for the winter season, with an excitement for retail, a willingness to learn about our farm process and the rich history we have held here at the farm. Candidate should be well-spoken and energetic. Responsibilities include opening and closing of farm stand, restocking of items in the farm shop, packaging and display of seasonal produce, greeting and assisting customers in the farm stand with their purchases. Watering and care for all plant products on the farm stand that are on display/for purchase. Creating seasonal décor and gifts in our workshop (centerpieces, gift baskets etc.) Artistic and tasteful seasonal decorating and set up of farm for product display. We are looking for someone who is willing to take initiative in helping the farm stand excel in all aspects. The right candidate should feel comfortable being on your feet for 8 hours and can lift at least 20 pounds. Flexible weekday schedule which can include one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday on a potential rotating basis. Hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
