Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscaping and irrigation management team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal water efficiency, healthy landscapes, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on new irrigation system installation projects, perform routine irrigation maintenance, and contribute to sustainable landscaping practices. Duties Install new irrigation systems, including automated control systems, ensuring proper layout and functionality Conduct regular irrigation system maintenance, including inspections, adjustments, and seasonal shut-downs Troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment and systems using electrical diagnostics, hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment such as excavators Perform system troubleshooting to identify leaks, clogs, electrical issues, or mechanical failures and execute effective repairs Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation solutions with landscape maintenance and lawn care efforts Manage irrigation schedules through automated control systems to optimize water usage and promote healthy plant growth Assist with excavation projects for system installation or repair, adhering to safety standards and construction best practices Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation system installation and repair projects Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics related to irrigation controls and components Familiarity with excavation techniques using equipment such as excavators for underground piping or system upgrades Knowledge of soil science and horticulture principles relevant to landscape watering needs Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized construction equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Prior experience in landscaping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory Construction experience or background in horticulture is a plus for understanding site-specific requirements Join us if you're passionate about creating lush landscapes through innovative irrigation solutions! Pay:
$26.23 - $31.59 per hour
