A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Responsibilities Water, care for, and maintain a diverse selection of plants, including annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, and tropicals Assist with unloading and organizing incoming plant shipments Restock and merchandise plants to ensure displays are full, clean, and visually appealing Create and update pricing and signage as needed Monitor plant health and promptly report any issues to the team Support customers in selecting plants and provide basic care guidance Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the greenhouse Assist with general customer service and support during peak times Qualifications Ability to stay active and on your feet throughout your shift Comfortable lifting 2550 lbs regularly Willingness to work in warm, humid, and varying weather conditions Flexible availability, including weekends Interest in gardening, plants, or outdoor work strongly preferred Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learnno prior experience required Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a team-oriented mindset Previous experience with plant care or merchandising is a plus Benefits Hands-on experience working with a wide variety of plants On-the-job training in plant care and greenhouse operations Engaging, fast-paced, and team-focused work environment Opportunity to develop valuable skills for future roles in horticulture or retail
