Responsibilities Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and plant health. Monitor and adjust agricultural environmental control systems such as humidity, temperature, and lighting to optimize crop growth. Implement crop production plans by following SOPs, including planting, pruning, trimming, and harvesting cannabis plants. Manage pest control strategies through integrated pest management (IPM) techniques to protect crops from pests and diseases. Conduct regular plant identification checks to assess plant health and identify any signs of pests or deficiencies. Support greenhouse cultivation activities by managing horticultural teams during planting, maintenance, and harvest cycles. Perform outdoor work tasks such as garden trimming, landscaping, and land management to maintain a clean and productive environment. Use hand tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Record detailed data related to irrigation management, crop progress, pest control measures, and environmental conditions. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to plant containers or materials as needed in compliance with safety standards. Requirements Proven growing experience in cannabis or other horticultural crops within greenhouse or outdoor environments. Knowledge of irrigation systems, agricultural environmental control systems, and crop production techniques. Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs), crop pest management, and integrated pest management practices. Experience managing horticultural teams or working collaboratively within a team setting. Hands-on experience with greenhouse cultivation, gardening tools, plant identification, and land management. Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for measurements and data recording; strong organizational skills are a plus. Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, bending, and manual labor tasks. A passion for horticulture with an eagerness to learn about cannabis cultivation best practices.
