We're looking to add a Greenhouse Worker to our staff. This position is essential as a role that helps to grow and ensure optimum quality of product for our customers Here's some of the responsibilities you can expect in this role on a daily basis: Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of products, sizing, packaging, and quality. Assist the Grower with duties in other areas as requested. Harvest products according to customer specifications and food safety procedures. Communicate potential shortages or overages of product to Grower. Follow procedures and instructions for seeding, watering, fertilizing, spraying, pruning, deadheading, transferring, and moving flats and plants. Assist the Grower with monitoring plant health. Follow all food safety program procedures and guidelines. Assist in areas of the Packing Room in order to complete the tasks necessary on an as needed basis. Maintain a positive work environment with clear and friendly communication. Keep work area clean, neat and safe. Complete reports for safety and other operational issues.
