Family owned and operated since 1952, Franklin Sanitation is a busy, professional drain, sewer, and septic cleaning and repair company. We are looking for an honest, reliable, and hardworking Drain Cleaner to join our respected team. We value hard work, teamwork, good communication, and a positive attitude. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and helping customers, we would like to hear from you. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Communicating respectfully and professionally with customers and coworkers Cleaning residential and commercial drains, main sewer lines, and storm sewers Snaking and jetting drain and sewer lines Installing sump pumps Cleaning and maintaining the work area after each job Keeping trucks, tools, and inventory clean, organized, and properly stocked Entering completed job information into our electronic software system Following company safety and service procedures Providing dependable, professional service to our customers What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Reliable and punctual Responsible and hardworking A strong team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A good communicator with a positive attitude Organized and able to maintain clean work areas and equipment Comfortable with hands-on work and problem-solving At least two years of relevant work experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule & On-Call Responsibilities This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with a minimum of 40 hours per week . Overtime and bonus opportunities are available when applicable. After completing sufficient training and receiving supervisor approval, employees will participate in a rotating on-call schedule for evening and weekend emergency services. Service Area Our base location is in Huron, Ohio . Service calls are primarily throughout Erie, Huron, and Ottawa Counties . Employees will start and end each workday at our Huron location. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from the Huron, OH location Ability to work Monday-Friday, with overtime and on-call hours as needed Reliability and punctuality are a must Physical & Work Environment This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced work environment. The job requires working with drains, sewer lines, and related equipment and may involve emergency service calls during evenings and weekends.
