Now that the kids are heading back to school... why not earn some extra income while they're in class? We're looking for a Part-Time Greenhouse Helper to join our team! Enjoy morning hours that fit your schedule—work approximately 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. to Noon while helping care for our greenhouse crops. You'll float between our greenhouses as needed, making each day a little different. Whether you're a parent with school-age children, someone looking to supplement your income, or simply enjoy working with plants and being active, we'd love to hear from you! We're looking to add a Greenhouse Worker to our staff. This position is essential as a role that helps to grow and ensure optimum quality of product for our customers Here's some of the responsibilities you can expect in this role on a daily basis: Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of products, sizing, packaging, and quality. Assist the Grower with duties in other areas as requested. Harvest products according to customer specifications and food safety procedures. Communicate potential shortages or overages of product to Grower. Follow procedures and instructions for seeding, watering, fertilizing, spraying, pruning, deadheading, transferring, and moving flats and plants. Assist the Grower with monitoring plant health. Follow all food safety program procedures and guidelines. Maintain a positive work environment with clear and friendly communication. Keep work area clean, neat and safe. Complete reports for safety and other operational issues. Perform any other duties necessary to meet job responsibilities.
