Company Overview Kill Agri-Service LLC is a family-owned trucking and agricultural business dedicated to working closely with our team members. We are a small family owned business, and treat our employees like part of a team. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custom Applicator / Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying agricultural products such as poultry litter and lime safely and efficiently while maintaining and repairing farm machinery and equipment. This is a great job for someone who likes to do different things depending on the season. We are ag focused and our work reflects that. Duties Safely operate farm machinery, power tools, and land management equipment to apply fertilizers and other dry agricultural products. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery, spreaders, semi trucks and trailers, and related equipment to ensure peak performance. Prepare and calibrate application equipment to meet specific job requirements accurately. Follow all safety protocols related to application procedures, and equipment operation. Assist with maintenance tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of applications, maintenance activities, and equipment inspections. Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience in farming, tractor operation, semi truck operation, or agriculture is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is essential. Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record; experience operating farm vehicles preferred. Ability to operate various types of land management equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
