Job Description
Hours of Job Full-Time 5:00am - 5:00pm or 8:00am to 8:00pm Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required Duties and Key Responsibilities Plans production activities (and/or assists co-workers, as needed) to ensure appropriate and timely production of food to fulfill menu requirements. Portions/serves food neatly and attractively. Maintains established portion control when portioning/serving foods. Covers, labels, and dates all opened, prepped, or leftover food items placed in storage. Prepares food items according to standardized recipes; produces a quality product. Checks temperatures of food products to verify that cooking and holding temperatures are within acceptable ranges; corrects temperature problems. Maintains frozen and refrigerated food storage area by assisting with storing deliveries, rotating stock, on a FIFO method, and keeping walk-in freezer and coolers neat and orderly. Requirements Weekend rotation Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Education/Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience Quality cooking experience preferred; food service experience preferred.
