A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Duties / Funciones del trabajo: Tasks involve moving crops and materials using various equipment, monitoring and adjusting machinery to ensure it operates correctly, and operating tractors, combines, irrigation systems, and other farm implements. The work includes attaching tools like plows and harvesters to tractors, loading machines with products, and operating towed equipment to plant, fertilize, or treat crops. It also involves driving trucks to transport crops, supplies, and workers, performing basic vehicle maintenance, repairing or servicing farm machinery, and managing irrigation by using and maintaining pipes, ditches, and pumps. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. The worker(s) must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. Housing / Vivienda
The employer provides housing at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return to their residence at the end of the workday. Separate sleeping quarters and bathroom facilities are designated for male and female workers; family housing is not available. Transporte:
Employer offers transportation at no cost to workers occupying Employer-provided housing to the worksite and return on a daily basis using any combination of van, truck and car depending on crop conditions and locations. Such transportation will be in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Workers hired from beyond normal commuting distance will be reimbursed for inbound transportation costs. Upon completion of the work contract, these workers will also be provided with outbound transportation costs.
