Details:
We have a starting yard where we take in young cattle and get them ready for wheat pasture in winter or grass in summer. There are around 2000-3000 head in the pens at all times in various stages that require care and feeding every day. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; construct facilities; maintain grounds and landscaping; maintain inventory; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: horseback riding for sorting, caring for livestock, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, trucks, skid steers, tractors, cattle sorting, working chute, and loading chute. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Must speak and understand English. •
