Late November (Job to begin at completion of facilities expansion) About Us Farview Dairy Farms LLC in East Berlin, PA is seeking a dependable, hardworking Dairy Farm General Laborer to join our team starting at the end of November . This is a hands-on position focused on cow care, milking routines, equipment operation, and everyday barn chores. Key Responsibilities Milking & Cow Care:

Prep cows, sanitize equipment, and milk cows efficiently following proper parlor/barn protocols. Move cows gently and calmly to and from pens and milking areas. Monitor cattle for overall health, injuries, mastitis, or heat.

Feeding & Pen Cleaning:

Clean, scrape, and re-bed cattle pens, stalls, and alleys. Assist with pushing up feed, distributing rations, and ensuring clean water.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate farm equipment, including tractors, skid steers/loaders, and scrapers. Perform basic equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.

General Farm Duties:

Assist with facility maintenance, seasonal chores, and general farm upkeep. Hours & Shifts Cow milking runs on a strict schedule, so dependability and punctuality are non-negotiable.

Fixed Milking Shift Windows:

Morning Milking:

4:30 AM - 6:30

AM OR Evening Milking:

4:30 PM - 6:30

PM Additional Hours:

Scheduled directly before or after the milking window to handle feeding, cleaning pens, running equipment, and general labor.

Flexible arrangements available:

Morning-focused, evening-focused, or full split shifts (Full-Time or Part-Time). Rotating weekend availability is required. Qualifications Comfortable and calm working directly around dairy cattle inside barns. Reliable transportation and an excellent attendance/punctuality record. Experience operating tractors or skid steers preferred (willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic).

Physical stamina:

Ability to walk, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied weather conditions. Self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as with the farm team.
