REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 7/19/26-11/30/26. Must agree to 40 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

Must have at least 2 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 60 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling.
JOB DUTIES
Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Workers will perform assign duties as instructed by their supervisor,
Harvesting Vegetables:
Once at the picking location, doing a row at a time, workers will move down the rows plucking the crop from the plants and putting them in a container. Once the container is full the worker will take the container to the truck and dump the content. The worker will go back to his picking area and fill his container up again, repeating the process through the work day. Workers who qualify may occasionally help with moving trucks, forklift and tractors inside the farm
Pumpkin Harvesting:
the worker will walk down the pumpkin field rows where the pumpkin will be harvested. The worker will first cut the vine off the pumpkin with a small knife. The worker will bend over harvesting the pumpkin which can vary in weight from 20lbs to 60lbs from the ground and tossing the pumpkin to the worker next to him and this worker will toss the pumpkin to the next worker and so on, until the pumpkin is then tossed to the person inside the bus who will place the pumpkin on the floor.
Packing:
When the bus is full, it will be taken to the packing house where the workers will unload the crops and put it in a conveyer belt that will transport the crops into the packing house where it will be separated by size, labeled and packed. Packing activities may also take place in the field.
Note:
The Packing houses are located inside the Farms and at least 50% of the product processed belongs to the Fixed Site Employer.
Field Maintenance:
workers will Hand Weeding, Rock removal, Stick removal, Painting, Grass trimming, Wood box construction, washing boxes mulching, produce packaging. Workers must be able to perform strenuous manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain, for a minimum of six (6) hours per day. The position requires physical strength and endurance to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods, as well as manual dexterity to repetitively use hands at a sustained pace to meet production standards. The employer will provide all necessary tools and equipment at no charge to the worker. Consistent with applicable law, the employer may recover the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of tools if damage results from the worker's willful misconduct or gross negligence after the damage has occurred and after gaining the employee's written authorization to make the deduction. At its sole discretion, the employer may pay a higher wage rate based on individual performance or tenure, which does not alter the entry-level requirements of this position. When production needs require, the employer may offer hours in excess of the daily or weekly schedule stated in the ETA-790, there is a possibility that available work hours will be in excess of 20% of the hours offered but they are not guaranteed. These additional hours are strictly voluntary and not guaranteed; no worker is required to work beyond the contracted hours, on federal holidays, or on their Sabbath, and no worker will be penalized for declining such work. Due to the nature of agriculture, workers should expect occasional periods of little or no work due to weather, crop maturity, or other conditions beyond the employer's control. These periods may occur at any time throughout the season. In the event of a worker-requested leave of absence during periods of available work, all missed hours will be deducted from the actual hours worked but will be credited as "hours offered" toward the fulfillment of the three-quarter guarantee. Workers are responsible for providing their own suitable work clothing.

Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING:
Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE
The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE
Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT
Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
