Job Description

Milk House Farm Market is a produce farm located in beautiful Newtown, Bucks County. We also raise chickens for eggs and meat, turkeys and pigs. The farm is 120 acres, with 30 of those acres used for fruit and vegetable production. Milk House is not certified organic, but we are committed to sustainable agricultural practices that preserve and improve the health of the land that we work on. As such, we are looking for motivated individuals with a strong interest in sustainable food production to fill our full time field worker position. We are looking to hire someone to work from now through November planting, weeding, harvesting , and maintaining the fields. This is an outdoor, physically demanding job; we work in all types of weather. Ideal applicants possess excellent work ethic, good communication skills, and a flexible, positive attitude. The hours are 7 to 3 five days a week- this will include one weekend day. Must be able to work effectively in group settings as well as independently. Farm or other outdoor work experience is useful, but not necessary.
