JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Now Hiring:
Technical Service Farm Operations Worker - Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center (Franklin County, PA) The Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Technical Service Farm Operations Worker to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our farm, equipment, and facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for our horses, riders, and programs. If you enjoy hands-on work and supporting a meaningful mission, we encourage you to apply! Daily Responsibilities Mow fields and maintain grounds Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractor Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on gator/utility vehicle Repair and maintain fencing as needed Maintain and repair automatic waterers Replace light bulbs and perform minor electrical upkeep Drag and maintain three riding arenas Drag and maintain turn-out fields Troubleshoot and repair general facility issues as they arise Assist during volunteer workdays with setup, projects, and coordination All other duties as assigned by the Stable Manager, Program Director, or 4-H Youth Development Educator
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
