Job Summary We are seeking someone who is hardworking to join our team and drive excellence in plant propagation and cultivation. In this role, you will be responsible for daily watering, inventory management, IPM routines and supporting the growth and development of hemp clones. This is a 10-99 Nec contractor position Responsibilities Assist in propagating plants in rockwool cubes Maintain and monitor environments to optimize temperature, humidity, light levels, and watering schedules. Conduct regular inspections of plants for pests, diseases, or deficiencies; implement integrated pest management strategies as needed. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move soil bags, pots, or mature plants while adhering to safety protocols. Document all propagation activities meticulously and assist in maintaining detailed records of plant progress and inventory. Experience Proven experience in horticulture or related fields such as gardening, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is highly preferred. Hands-on greenhouse experience with plant propagation techniques including seed starting, grafting, or cuttings is essential. Knowledge of irrigation systems and mechanical tools used in plant care enhances effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with plant identification skills and basic math for measurements and calculations related to soil mixes or watering schedules is advantageous.
