What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
- Independently install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components, including valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, controllers, pumps, and water lines.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment and systems.
- Assess irrigation performance and make adjustments to improve water efficiency and coverage.
- Assist with irrigation system design, layout planning, and installation preparation.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot outdoor lighting systems.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist with training and supporting Irrigation Technician I team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of irrigation experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Working knowledge of irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues with limited supervision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Driver's License issued by a U.S. State or Territory and an acceptable driving record.
- Irrigation certifications are a plus. Work Environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to the Franklin location (transportation to job sites is provided). Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 15-50 lbs.
