A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

General Responsibilities:
Maintain the safety and security of the Franklin facility and grounds Understand all aspects of guard monitoring, such as operating the lobby, foot patrols, monitoring the cameras, understanding the alarm system and emergency procedures Serve as a receptionist/greeter in the lobby for all visitors coming to the facility Screen and log in all visitors entering and exiting the complex Conduct routine surveillance; perform security patrols, protocol and contingency operations Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency After business hours - checks doors, windows, to ensure the property is secure Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property Provide excellent customer service; maintain friendliness and professionalism at all times Possess good judgment to handle day to day operations Perform all duties with pride; Work well in an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation
Work Schedule:
