Job Description

Position Summary The Grain Elevator Operator works at the Henry, TN facility and is responsible for the daily operation of Tosh Farms' grain receiving, drying, storage, and load-out facilities. This position helps maintain grain quality, equipment reliability, inventory accuracy, and a safe working environment while supporting seasonal harvest operations. Work schedules may vary based on staffing levels, harvest activities, seasonal demands, and operational needs. Essential Job Functions The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: Receive, transfer, dry, condition, store, and load grain safely and efficiently.

Monitor grain quality and maintain accurate grain inventories.

Operate grain dryers, conveyors, augers, grain legs, and other grain handling equipment.

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe grain facilities.

Climb ladders, grain bins, grain legs, and catwalks to inspect and maintain equipment.

Enter grain storage bins as needed while following confined-space and grain safety procedures.

Assist with harvest operations and other seasonal activities.

Follow all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

Promote and support the company's safety culture.

Work independently and as part of a team.

Complete other duties as assigned.
