Job Description
Vineyard & Winery WorkerWoodfeather Farm Winery & Vineyard - Lewisburg/Chapel Hill, TN Woodfeather Farm Winery & Vineyard is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to assist with vineyard, winery, and farm operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has experience with landscaping or agricultural equipment, and wants to learn the craft of making wine, mead, and other fermented beverages.
Pay:
$12-15 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Approximately 4 mornings per week Additional afternoon hours may be available Flexible schedule for the right candidate Additional hours available during harvest season and special projects
What You'll Do:
Maintain vineyard rows through pruning, training, mowing, weed control, and harvest activities Assist with wine and mead production, bottling, labeling, cleaning, and sanitation Perform general farm and property maintenance Repair fencing and assist with equipment maintenance Operate tractors, zero-turn mowers, weed trimmers, sprayers, and other equipment Move supplies, cases of wine, and production materials
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and varying weather conditions Experience using power and manual landscaping tools such as: Zero-turn mowers Weed trimmers Hand pruners Fence pliers Basic farm and landscaping equipment Comfortable using hand tools including wrenches, sockets, drills, and similar tools Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in farming, landscaping, vineyards, orchards, or grounds maintenance Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment Interest in agriculture, winemaking, and fermentation
