Duties Install new irrigation systems, including piping, sprinklers, controllers, and automated control units, ensuring efficient water distribution. Perform regular maintenance and system inspections to optimize performance and prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot system issues using electrical diagnostics and system troubleshooting techniques to identify faults quickly. Repair irrigation equipment such as valves, controllers, pumps, and sprinklers using hand tools and power tools. Communicating with customers and providing recommendations to enhance their landscape. Manage irrigation schedules and adjust settings to meet landscape needs based on soil science principles and horticultural best practices. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and addressing client concerns professionally. This position qualifies for commission and sales opportunities. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in irrigation system installation and repair projects. Familiarity with automated irrigation control systems and electrical diagnostics. Experience with excavation work and operating hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of landscaping, soil science, horticulture, and lawn care practices. Ability to manage multiple irrigation systems efficiently while troubleshooting issues promptly. Strong customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions. Prior experience in irrigation management or maintenance is highly desirable; relevant certifications are a plus. Requirements Valid driver's license and good driving record. 1+ Years experience diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems. Ability to get a Irrigation Technician license in the next 6 months, Kings Lawn will help with training and testing. Applicant must be able to pass a TCEQ background check to obtain license.
