Job Description

Overview:
This position is responsible for the operation of the grain elevator as it pertains to loading, unloading and transferring grain and grain products in an efficient, safe and sanitary manner. Also assists or leads in all other aspects of grain handling, storage, maintaining facilities/equipment and elevator operations. 5V, LLC is joint venture partnership between Viserion Grain, LLC and Five Rivers Cattle Feeding encompassing a shuttle train grain facility in Dalhart, Texas. This facility is positioned to meet the growing demand for feed in the region and represents a key strategic asset to complement the partners' existing grain, merchandising, and feed businesses. Responsibilities:
Assist all areas of the loading, unloading and transferring of grain and grain products. Perform basic housekeeping and cleaning duties. Assists in basic maintenance activities. Compliance with all the Company's safety programs and policies. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. One (1) year of grain industry experience is preferred.
Skills:
Basic written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment. Ability to work in a quality-controlled environment.
Physical Requirments:
Regularly walk, bend and stoop. Regularly required to walk on catwalks at a variety of heights; up to 200 feet with appropriate safety equipment. Regularly climb stairs and ladders. Regularly lift up to 75 pounds. Regularly enter and works in confined spaces.
