About the Position We are looking for a motivated and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our residential landscape team in Irving, TX. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential sprinkler and irrigation systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, working with tools, and providing excellent service to homeowners. Responsibilities Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot residential irrigation and sprinkler systems. Diagnose irrigation problems such as broken pipes, clogged sprinkler heads, leaks, low water pressure, and damaged valves. Repair and replace sprinkler heads, valves, solenoids, pipes, fittings, controllers, and other irrigation components. Program and adjust irrigation controllers and watering schedules. Inspect irrigation systems to identify leaks, damaged components, and inefficient watering. Perform seasonal irrigation start-ups, adjustments, and system shut-downs as needed. Make irrigation repairs while maintaining a clean and professional work area. Work with hand tools, power tools, digging tools, and irrigation equipment. Read basic irrigation layouts and identify irrigation zones and components. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding irrigation issues and completed work. Provide recommendations for irrigation repairs, maintenance, and water efficiency. Follow company safety procedures and Texas irrigation regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer issues. Work outdoors in different weather conditions. Qualifications & SkillsRequired Valid driver's license Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor. Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and irrigation problems. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Good communication and customer service skills. Education High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
